This fight sounds like it will be a lot of fun, but this achievement makes be really really nervous!

holy balls! 31 mins! on a single fights?! that is a bit insane don't you think?

It is a placeholder for the real time. Until they have the encounter totally tuned they don't know what a good number for that achievement is. But it does sound fun nonetheless. I see myself stacking intellect and going for a massive Holy Light/keep my mana set for it.

stacking int seems to be a good thought for this fight. i will be great disappointed if i have to regem all of my haste gems back to int for IC. blizzard can't keep changing the stat requirements for each phase of the game it sucks to regear!

The 31 is a reference to their initial statement of the # of bosses in IC, which was also a joke, but which caused a shitstorm on the forums of course.

There is that speculation Ben but when they first added the achievement to kill Yogg(IE before the 31 bosses in icecrown comment) it too had a 31 min timer. "Kill Yogg-Saron in less than 31 minutes in 10 man." Seems blizz likes the number :-D
